An Aber Wrac´h

Due to a depression coming over de northern part of the Biscay we went for shelter in An Aber Wrac´h. A small town only a few miles away from Chanal du Four, the entrance to the Biscay. We had to stay there for 3 days and finally left on Sunday evening going with the current, racing through the canal and Raz du Sein.
But of course after a depression with a lot of wind, there is no wind at all right now. We are doing 6 knots on engine, trying to get to Bayonne quickly as there is another depression heading this way. Summer is supposed to start in 3 days.. until that time we are suited up with thermal underwear and waterproof (…) clothing.
An Aber Wrac´h was a very beautiful place, hills, beach a beautiful bay and a lot of green and flowers. And there are many of these beautiful inlets around this area. And of course the bay of Brest is just around the corner.
