Today was a beautiful sailing day!

Today was a beautiful sailing day! During the night we had had enough wind to sail but also a lot of rain. This morning we set the topsails and during the whole afternoon we had sun and a light breeze (between 5 and 8 knots) which made us do between 3 and 5 knots. It felt like summer was finally getting through! We got some work done in the rigging and the rest of the afternoon was spend reading a book or just hanging out.
The wind disappeared just after dinner, but now we are back to a nice speed of between 6 and 7 knots, half wind. With our small crew on board we are doing 6 hours watches, but with this wind and speed it feels a lot shorter! Lizzy (Jet her new dog) is doing great, happy with all the attention, and happy the engine is off!!
