Starting a bookclub
We have decided, that besides our Tec-talks and our daily photo competition, we might start a book club as well! This afternoon we started talking about books, favorite books, what would you recommend as you think people may not have read it yet etc. And it felt like we needed to start making a list straight away! At least, I had not heard of half of the books and got very excited to find them as soon as we hit land!
The photo competition has started as well, although we were late in the day starting the competition, we still had three entrees to start with. The one that won, shows the weather has changed a great deal since yesterday! Yesterday was blue skies, trade wind clouds and easy going weather. Today the wind increased, the waves increased and the clouds increased. We had some rain, but luckily not all day long! Just before dinner the wind shifted in a shower and then disappeared completely.. So since 17:00 board time we have been under engine as the wind has not returned yet. The weather report says it should be back in the morning and start to pick up gradually to a force 5.
We did not have a Tec-Talk today due to the weather and some need for nice long sleeps, as the first night out on the water is always a little challenging to sleep in. It is good to see everybody getting into the rhythm during the day, using all the hours they had to sleep and catch up on any rest lost in the previous night.
Other then that we have little news, all is well and all are happy!
