We have arrived on the Falkland Islands, moored in the harbor of Stanley along side the East Jetty.
We arrived in the evening of Saturday at 23:30 and had a long sleep straight into the Sunday morning. Customs cleared us in at 10:00 and then our crew was off on shore, stretching legs and finding wifi!
What a voyage it has been. 38 days and 12 hours at sea! We have made it with 5.444NM done! That comes down to a an average of 5,9, which is an amazing average for a long crossing like this one!
Today we will set off for a small sail to Bleaker Island. 75 nautical miles to the Southwest. We are expecting Northerly winds, light until the 26th of december, when we want to be back in Stanley as the winds will pick up to a strong Northwesterly wind.
