Blue Blue ocean
Today not much of any significance happened. A nice, quiet beautiful sunny day. The Ocean was a deep deep blue all day long, with small crests of waves. The wind has been good, strong even force 5, from a North North Easterly direction. Waves have been building up in the past 24 to 36 hours, with some swell bigger then 2 meters. Running down wind, it has been very nice as the wind over deck is decreased significantly with our 8 or 9 knots speed.

Since nightfall wind is starting to decrease a little and is turning more easterly, making our ride down the waves slightly less comfortable. During the day we will gybe and start our run South. It looks like there will be little wind around the Cape Verde Islands in the next few days, so we will stay clear from them and carve our own path where the wind lies.
This blue ocean never seems to bore me. May days like this keep on coming!
