A reason to join the Tecla

Did you know that the Tecla is a regular competitor   in Tall Ship Races?

Did you know that she always goes for the prizes? And that she almost always  goes home with a few? Below some races and prizes!

Our first Race was the Race2DeRuyter 2007: Tecla was the ship with most miles, number1

We joined the TSR 2008, last leg, from Bergen to Den Helder, 5th in class B, 12 Over All

In autumn we sailed the Funchal 500 Race:

Race 1 Falmouth- Ilhavo Class C+D    2nd on corrected time

Race 2 Ilhavo –Funchal  Class C+D   1st on corrected time

Extra price for most nationalities on board, 6 nationalities in a crew of 14

And then 2009, the Tall Ship Atlantic Challenge:

Race 1: Class A+B 1st on Corrected time and First vessel overall on corrected time

Race 2: Class A+B 2nd on corrected time and the communication prize

Race 3: Class B 2nd on corrected time

Race 4: Class B 1st on corrected time and First vessel overall on corrected time

Race 5: Class B 1st on corrected time First vessel overall on corrected time

Race series results:

First in class B and first overall on corrected time

2010 was a year of four Tall Ship Races starting in Italy Garibaldi Tall Ship Regatta:

Class B 2nd on corrected time

Historical Seas Tall Ship Regatta

Race 1: Tecla 1st in Class , 1st Overall leg 1 & 2

Race 2: Tecla 1st in Class and 1st Overall

Race 3: Tecla 2nd in Class 11 Overall

Regatta series results:

Tecla Class B Trophy highest placed in class B on Corrected time for Regatta Series

Tall Ship Races 2010

Antwerp-Aalborg: 2nd in class B   4 overall

Kristiansand-Harlepool 3rd in class and 4 overall

Overall series: 1st in class B on corrected time

North Sea Regatta:  1st in Class B
