From the enchanted shores of the Galápagos, where sea lions bask and ancient lava fields cradle life found nowhere else, we turn our bow south. What lies ahead is not just a voyage—it’s a passage through deep blue solitude, where wind, current, and sky shape each day.
Our journey begins with quiet preparations at anchor. There’s time for a last swim with turtles or a moment spent watching blue-footed boobies dive before the sails are raised and the land slips away behind us.
To reach Rapa Nui, we must first leave the tropics behind. We sail southward, away from the heat and calm of the equator, searching for the steady trades that will carry us onward. Life on board settles into its timeless rhythm—watch rotations, salt spray over the bow, stars blazing across the night sky. We eat, sleep, sail, and share stories between lines of latitude.
The Pacific stretches wide around us. There are no ports, no cities, no distractions—just water and wind. Flying fish dance across the surface, and the occasional pod of dolphins joins us at the bow. Each day, the ocean teaches patience, presence, and the quiet joy of movement under sail.
Then, one morning, land appears like a whispered promise. Rapa Nui, Easter Island—remote, wind-swept, and alive with history. The silhouettes of the moai rise slowly on the cliffs as we approach. The anchor drops in Hanga Roa. We go ashore to walk among the stories carved in stone, among the legends whispered by trade winds and surf.
This is not a cruise. This is a crossing—an ancient path retraced by modern hands. From the enchanted to the enigmatic, the Galápagos to Rapa Nui, it’s a journey that lingers long after your feet return to solid ground.
